To provide transportation, food and support in multiple aspects to families battling childhood cancer. The Kyle Wood Foundation is here to help and support those families during this difficult time. We offer holiday meals, Kyle's Miles for families trying to get to their loved one's and much more.
The Kyle Wood Foundation in Littleton, CO is family owned & operated, and 100% volunteer. We do not have any paid employees, officers, or participants. Every dollar goes to families that need our support. We welcome volunteers and are fully committed to fulfilling our mission. Please consider donating to help keep our vision a reality.
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
This program is designed to provide transportation to family members of children battling cancer, who could not otherwise afford to be by their child's side. We also help alleviate travel and other expenses where we can, as well as future plans for rentable wheelchairs and WiFi devices to stay connected to loved ones.
Every year The Kyle Wood Foundation partners with Brent's Place in providing Happy Meals to all the children, as well as full Thanksgiving turkey & ham dinners to the families staying at Brent's Place and we deliver dessert donations to the children and families at the Children's Hospital in Denver and Aurora, as well as the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children

In honor of Kyle, there is a youth reining event that comes once a year in Scottsdale, AZ called the Cactus Classic. Originally held in Denver, CO (called The Summer Slide then), was one of Kyle's favorite things to do. We have also partnered with the NRCHA youth cow & horse schlarship program. Prizes are donated for the event and the Kyle Steven Wood Memorial Youth Reining trophy is given to the winner every year, since 2001.
We couldn’t be more honored to partner with the National Reined Cow Horse Association to support youth cow & horse scholarships and families battling pediatric cancer. We thank everyone involved for this amazing video and to help us dish out hope, one day at a time. Visit www.nrcha.com/foundation/youth-scholarships/ to learn more!
